Computer Aided Facility Management (CAFM) Software Coordinator

The selected candidate will work in support of the NASA Glenn Research Center’s (GRC) Facilities Management Team to plan, coordinate and implement changes in the utilization of building spaces at NASA GRC.

  • Utilization of the Computer Aided Facility Management (CAFM) software tool named Archibus.
  • Work will involve learning how to utilize the software and developing the links between building floor plans and room data spreadsheets which are used by the tool.
  • Gather names/room location data and input changes into the Archibus database.  Responsible for keeping the Archibus database information current. 
  • Track floor plan information that requires corrections and review and update the configured controlled floor plan drawings as needed.
  • Support the ‘Users’ of the Archibus Smart Client tool, who are presently the co-chairs of NASA GRC’s Space Management Committee.
  • Provide programming and insight towards continuous improvements and reporting to NASA customers.
  • Provide web-based reporting and user-based maintenance. 


Required Qualifications:

  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Effective soft skills in working with people in a positive and cooperative manner
  • Strong computer experience working with AutoCAD drawings, Excel databases, Archibus and/or another Computer Aided Facility Management (CAFM) tool
  • U.S. citizenship is required


Other Desired Skills:

  • Skilled in Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, Access & PowerPoint)
  • Experience with building planning, architecture, or engineering 
  • Experience with project management 



  • Have or pursuing a B.S. in Architecture or Civil Engineering
  • 0 – 5 years of experience
