Vantage Partners, LLC is seeking individuals for its Electrical Engineering department to provide engineering support to a NASA Glenn Research Center (GRC) initiative to develop the power system for the NASA Gateway Program.  This work is to support the required engineering for the development and integration of the Gateway power system.

Engineers on this project will work collaboratively with our NASA customer on the design and development of the Gateway Electrical Power System (EPS) providing the necessary engineering for design, development, analysis and testing for the Gateway power system.  Specifically, providing engineering for the integration of the Gateway power system, providing standards and specifications maintenance and verification, modeling and analysis, power quality assessments and verification, fault coordination, testing, test documentation, element requirement evaluations, and providing routine status reports.


Required Qualifications:

  • Electrical power system modeling experience implementing Matlab/Simulink .  Power system stability analysis including experience with line impedance measurements.
  • Work with senior engineers to develop power system testbeds and perform power quality measurements.
  • U.S. citizenship.


Other Desired Skills:

  • Ability to work independently and as a member of a development team.
  • Understanding of power electronic components including DC/DC converters, battery charge/discharge control, solar array power generation and regulation, and DC bus power quality requirements.
  • Knowledge of Electrical Power Systems fault management systems.



  • BS/MS Electrical Engineering
  • 2-3 years of experience
