Electrical/Test Engineer

Vantage Partners, LLC is seeking an individual for its Electrical Engineering department to provide engineering support to the Electromagnetic Interference Laboratory at NASA Glenn Research Center (GRC).  This position will involve performing various Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) tests on NASA hardware in order to verify specific program performance requirements. Selected individual may be required to work under minimal supervision and carry out a variety of engineering assignments exercising considerable initiative and independent judgment.


Required Qualifications:

  • Experience operating electronic test equipment, preferably in an Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) test laboratory
  • Experience setting up equipment and collecting test data
  • Experience generating test reports and summarizing test results
  • Experience recommending design changes to customers when EMC requirements are not met.
  • U.S. citizenship


Other Desired Skills:

  • Ability to work independently and as a member of a test team
  • Understanding of power electronic components including DC/DC converters, battery charge/discharge control, solar array power generation and regulation, and DC bus power quality requirements
  • General knowledge of Electrical Power Systems used in spacecraft



  • BS/MS Electrical Engineering
  • 10 to 15 years of experience
