Schedule Analyst

Description

Vantage Partners, LLC is a multi-disciplinary engineering services company providing progressive solutions to projects within the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) and the NASA prime contractor community.

The selected candidate will support projects at the NASA Glenn Research Center in Cleveland, Ohio.  Responsibilities will include the following:

  • Develop and maintain project Resource Loaded Schedule (RLS) for in-house activities
  • Develop and maintain a project integrated master schedule (IMS) including in-house, contractor, and partner Center inputs
  • Support the evaluation of the partner Center schedule(s)
  • Assist Solar Electric Propulsion (SEP) Project Management and Resources Manager in developing the Deep Space Gateway Power and Propulsion Bus Project Program Planning and Budget Execution (PPBE) inputs utilizing the RLS
  • Prepare project summary schedules for reporting to GRC, Project Office, and Program Office Management
  • Support the development and review of the in-house, partner Center, and Prime Contractor monthly EVM reports (Cost Performance Reports) and provide analysis findings to SEP Project Management
  • Coordinate a bi-weekly Project Schedule Status meeting
  • Coordinate with GRC and partner Center Business Management personnel as required to perform listed tasks
  • Perform a schedule risk assessment with technical inputs and schedule risk and cost loading activities

 Requirements:

  • Ability to collaborate with engineers and program/project managers to create summary schedules and accurate, detailed schedules
  • Experience developing / maintaining resource loaded schedules, evaluating schedules, and developing an Integrated Master Schedule (IMS)
  • Experience supporting schedule risk assessment, schedule confidence level analysis, and joint cost & schedule confidence level (JCL) analysis
  • Experience developing and assessing Earned Value Management (EVM) reports
  • The ability to work with a pre-Phase A project, defining first steps of an intra-center space flight project in cooperation with Project Management teams
  • Comfort with communication with multiple levels of management in a high visibility project
  • MS Office products, MS Project 2016; Excellent organizational skills
  • U.S. citizenship is required

Other Desired Skills:

  • NASA project support experience
  • Exposure to formulation activities and the development of schedules with the correct level of fidelity to appeal to NASA HQ
  • Experience with NASA HQ presentations, and expected trade study schedule support
  • PMP certification 
Education

  • B.A. or B.S. degree is required

  • 10-15 years of experience
